и упадку гончарного ремесла в Мехоцине. Обнаружен­

ческий материал, автор пытается установить хроно­
логию мехоцинских изделий. К самым ранним принад­

я н с к о й к е р а м и к о й ( и л л . 41), н е к о т о р ы е т и п ы и з р а з ц о в
(илл. 47).
Развитие мехоцинского производства задерживается
в с е р е д и н е X V I I в. П р и ч и н о й э т о г о а в т о р с ч и т а е т п р и ­
ш е д ш у ю из Д е л ь ф моду на фаянс.
Об упадке мехоцинского ремесла
свидетельствуют
и з м е н е н и я в д е к о р а т и в н о м о р н а м е н т е ( и л л . 57, 58, 69))
и в форме посуды (илл.
71). Т о ч н о м у у с т а н о в л е н и ю
х р о н о л о г и и этого типа керамики мешает
отсутствие
аналогичного орнамета в других отраслях искусства.
Некоторые мастерские ввели новые декоративные
ф о р м ы . Посуда этого периода становится проще, в ы ­
делка грубее, рисунок беднее (илл.

Он
с о х р а н и л п р е ж н и й репертуар, но вносил и з м е ­
нения, принимая во внимание вкусы новой публики.
Переход
кукольного
театра
к народному
искус­
ству не обозначает полного отрыва от искусства про­
свещенной среды. М е с т о этого театра в общем р а з ­
витии искусства довольно точно определяет понятие
. . V o l k s t i i m l i c h k u n s t " . Н а р о д н ы й к у к о л ь н ы й театр X V I I I
и X I X вв. б е р е т с в о е н а ч а л о от искусства п р о с в е щ е н ­
н ы х слоев общества, но обладает чертами народного
творчества.
Итак,
следовало
бы применить к нему
определение: театр народного характера
(volksttimlich).
О связи кукольного театра с народным искусством
свидетельствует
е г о б е с с м е н н ы й на п р о т я ж е н и и н е ­
скольких столетий репертуар. Все ж е в представле­
ниях к у к о л ь н о г о театра наступили перемены. Т е к с т ы
стали более упрощенными, а требования логики
от­
брошены. Г л а в н ы м критерием стал аттракционный х а ­
рактер спектакля, его притягательность д л я
широкой
публики. Это вело к компиляции эффектных
моти­
вов и выдвигало на первый п л а н образ популярного
героя. Т а к создавались своеобразные средства
выра­
жения и художественный
стиль народного
куколь­
ного театра. Этот
стиль
высоко ценили романтики,
ц е н и л и е г о и в н а ч а л е X X в. К у к о л ь н ы й т е р а т р о к а ­
зался аттракционным источником
вдохновения
для
театра „ ж и в о г о актера" и л и т е р а т у р ы п р о с в е щ е н н ы х
слоев общества.
Итак, пути кукольного
театра и театра
„живого
а к т е р а " с п о к о н в е к у то р а с х о д я т с я , то в н о в ь сходятся,
взаимно обогащая и вдохновляя друг друга.
П р и б л и ж е н и е кукольного театра к народному ис­
к у с с т в у обращает внимание на д р у г о й п о д о б н ы й п р о ­
цесс: п р и б л и ж е н и е кукольного
театра к профессио­
нальному театру д л я детей. М о ж е т л и искусство д л я
детей давать п и щ у искусству д л я взрослых?
скорее
нет. Н а р о д н о е искусство б ы л о в ы р а ж е н и е м н а р о д н о г о
мира и в этом б ы л а его сила. И с к у с с т в о д л я детей
не в ы р а ж а е т детского мира, а мир, созданный взрос­
