Uwagi: 1) wypełnienie znaku kropką oznacza, że zjawisko występowało w przeszłości, a znak wypełniony czarnobiałą teksturą oznacza, że zjawisko pojawiło się po I I wojnie światowej. Mapa dotyczy stanu zjawiska w latach 70. XX wieku, 2) pierworys mapy na podstawie materiałów PAE i literatury wykonała A. Mączyńska (mapa 540 „Przeżytkowe formy zawierania małżeństwa w czasie zaręczyn"), 3) dane z materiałów PAE zweryfikowała A. Pieńczak (na mapie pominięte zostały inne dane, nie pochodzące ze stałej sieci punktów atlasowych, natomiast uwzględniono informacje pochodzące z literatury XIX-wiecznej — na mapie zaznaczone kolorem szarym), 4) punkty z pionową kreską oznaczają informacje pochodzące od ludności napływowej (przesiedleń­ cy z Kresów Wschodnich i osadnicy z różnych stron Polski). �
